Eligibility:  Participants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for raffle. Employees of the Fund for Educational Excellence and Empowerment Through Aviation are not eligible for the raffle. Employees of Southwest Airlines and their family members are not eligible for the raffle. No person involved in the planning or management of this fundraiser is eligible for the raffle.  

Ticket purchase: Participants will receive one entry for each $50 ticket purchased during the eligibility period. Multiple tickets may be purchased by purchasing tickets in multiples of $50. All ticket purchases will be made online at http://etanow.org/contest. Participants should click the “Click to Enter” button and will then be routed to ETA’s contest purchase page managed by Classy.

After making a qualified purchase, participants will receive an order confirmation via email after ticket purchase. The participant’s name will be notated on the confirmation once for each qualified $50 ticket purchased. For instance, a ticket purchase of $150 will entitle the participant to three tickets and they will see their name listed three times on the order summary.  Donors to Empowerment Through Aviation wishing to participate in the raffle, must visit http://etanow.org/contest and click the “click to enter” button.  Regular donations, using the “Donate” button are welcome but will not be eligible for the raffle. Regular donations are tax deductible.

Eligibility period:  The raffle eligibility period will be from November 14th 2025 through midnight, December 31st, 2025. Donations made to Empowerment Through Aviation outside of the eligibility period will not qualify donors for the raffle. Tax-deductible donations made to Empowerment Through Aviation during the raffle eligibility period, will not entitle donors to participate in the raffle and tickets will not be assigned for such donations.

Prize details:  The prize will be two round trip vouchers/tickets (e-passes) for travel on Southwest Airlines. Each ticket has an estimated value of $400. Travel must take place in 2026. Tickets are valid for domestic travel only and are not valid for international travel.  

Conditions:  The Southwest flight e-passes are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash or credit. The Southwest flight epasses will not be replaced for any reason, including, without limitation, if lost, stolen, or fraudulently used. The Southwest flight e-passes are non-transferrable and cannot be sold to a third party. Sale, auction, or re-tendering of the Southwest flight e-passes for money or otherwise is strictly prohibited.

Winner selection:  The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible participants, no later than midnight on the 5th business day after the last day of the eligibility period. Participants’ names will be entered into the random drawing one time for each $50 ticket purchased. (one name entry for each time the name appears on the order summary).

Winner notification:  The winner of the raffle will be notified by email and text message. A valid email address and phone number must be provided at the time of the qualifying donation. If the winner does not respond to the initial email or text message, one follow-up email and text message will be sent 5 business days after the first attempt.

Prize claim:  Participants need not be present at the time of the raffle drawing in order to claim the prize.  Responding to the notification email or text message will satisfy the requirement to claim the prize. If the raffle administrators receive no response after attempts to contact the winner within 30 days of the initial text and email nootifications, the winner will forfeit the prize. In this case, the e-passes will be forfeited back to Empowerment Through Aviation.

Governing laws:  This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Taxes:  Tickets purchased from Empowerment Through Aviation for the raffle are not tax deductible. Other donations made to Empowerment Through Aviation through the Fund For Educational Excellence are tax deductible. Fund for Educational Excellence Inc is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.  Regular donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.  Ticket purchases, as described above, are not tax deductible.
